Dancer Email: New Year, New Ideas

Happy New Year Boofsters!

We survived it! We hope you’re enjoying your holiday breaks!

However, it’s that time again when we start preparing for our next production: ISA – The World is One!! Get excited, and get ready for incoming information!

Themes!

We are asking for your help in deciding a theme for us for both the script and the modern set!

We have some proposals for the script!

1) Grease

2) Adaptation of a Space/Future movie, show, etc.

Currently for our modern set -

We have a tentative theme for our set which is: space and the future. It has a story line – get ready for it: In the near distant future, post-bufsacalyptic Boofs find the remnants of BUFSA of the past, particularly a music playlist! The music playlist is like a time capsule of the songs and dances that represent us as a group and as a culture! More details to come should this set be developed!

*While this is not the official choreographers’ interest e-mail, we will be looking for both traditional and modern set choreographers in the near future! Start your research on the many Filipino traditional dances we can perform!*

The official choreographer’s e-mail in which we will ask for choreographers will be sent out AFTER the modern set theme has been decided!!
