Filipino Hero: Gregoria de Jesus

She was the first woman member of the Katipunan, initiated as “Lakambini.”  The wife of Supremo, Andres Bonifacio.  She made the first Katipunan flag.  De Jesus helped propagate the Katipunan.  She kept important paraphernalias and acquainted new members of the Katipunan with the constitution of the movement.  She re-married after the death of Bonifacio and took Julio Nakpil as her second husband.
